The new version 3.2.3 of the A.I. Tech product suite has been released, introducing important enhancements to existing solutions, powerful new functionalities, and two brand-new applications. Let’s discover together what’s new.
- AI-FACEDETECT, the application for face detection, now integrates a person detector, enabling two innovative event detection modes: notification when a person is detected without a corresponding face, and vice versa. This provides greater flexibility for scenarios such as mask detection or access control.
- AI-INTRUSION is now even more powerful, thanks to the integration of two distinct neural networks optimized for daytime and nighttime conditions, ensuring high accuracy in all lighting environments. In addition, the neural network dedicated to thermal image analysis has been significantly improved, enhancing performance in low-visibility or critical security contexts.
- PTZ cameras can now be automatically moved to configured presets, enabling targeted video analytics in specific areas of interest on a time schedule or cyclic basis.
- A new multi-configuration management system has been introduced, allowing users to define different configurations that can be activated either on a time basis or in a cyclic sequence, and to combine them with PTZ movements for dynamic monitoring.
- It is now possible to enable or disable the sending of events based on the value of a digital input, available for Axis cameras. This feature is ideal for synchronizing analytics with external systems such as access controls or alarms.
- Introduction of pixel object filtering with customizable parameters for different zones, improving detection accuracy and reducing false positives in complex scenes.
- New configurable zones of no interest, allowing users to exclude certain areas from analysis—ideal for masking out irrelevant regions such as streets or trees swaying in the wind.

- AI-AID is the cutting-edge video analytics solution for road safety and incident prevention, combining the power of AI-ROAD3D, AI-INCIDENT, AI-FIRE+, and Cargo Loss into a single application. It enables vehicle counting and classification, speed and traffic flow analysis, and anomaly detection such as wrong-way driving, stopped vehicles, or pedestrians in restricted areas. It can also detect fallen cargo, as well as flames and smoke in environments like tunnels and highways—without the need for thermal cameras. Thanks to advanced AI and 3D calibration, AI-AID ensures high accuracy even in complex, low-visibility scenarios, making it the ideal solution for smart cities and modern road infrastructure.
- AI-BOAT is the cutting-edge video analytics solution for real-time monitoring and safety management in port areas. Powered by deep neural networks and advanced computer vision, it tracks and detects boats within the scene, estimates vessel count, and identifies unauthorized or stationary boats in restricted zones. AI-BOAT can also trigger alarms in case of overcrowding or violations of safety distances, helping prevent congestion, collisions, and access breaches.
